The government has recommended that all adults aged between 40 to 75 years have health checks. This will enable us to review your risk of developing chronic illnesses over the next 10 years. We will check your blood pressure, fasting cholesterol and sugar levels. For those at risk we may start medication to treat your cholesterol. Patients will be invited for these checks.
This is a clinic for our patients who suffer with high blood pressure. It is by appointment only.
We offer a full Health check to all our new patients registering with the practice. The Health care assistant checks your height, weight, blood pressure and urine. A blood test is offered if necessary. Patients already registered may be offered a Health check if they have not been seen in the last 5 years.
