Join Our PPG
The Norton Canes Practice Patient Participation Group (PPG) was formed in 2009. Initially the group met quarterly, but last year due to change in management, the group met monthly and achieved results (Patient Participitation Group Action Template for 2014-15). However, for 2015-16, PPG will continue with initial quarterly meetings. The group meets to exchange and discuss views about services provided in the practice and to develop projects to support the community. Dr Rajul Singh and Mrs Ann Butlin, Assistant Practice Manager meet with the 11 members of group and between them they have experienced most of the services offered by the practice. Speakers from other local groups for e.g. Dementia, Learning Disabilities etc. have been invited to talk to the PPG group which helped us to develop a network and access their services for our patients.
If you would like your views to be heard then the PPG is your Forum to do so and it is only 4 times in a year, we are asking you to come and meet us. We discuss the Norton Canes Practice and the services provided, but it is not a place where individuals patients personal issues are addressed.
We would welcome additional members to join the group, across all age groups. The PPG group may be joined by coming to the reception and asking for the PPG registration form to sign on as member or as a virtual (on-line ) member via E-Mail sent to PPG at firstname.lastname@example.org
